Postdoc Researcher

Gerard Draper obtained his  PhD with Cum Laude distinction and European mention in 2012, from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB).  In 2010 he spent 5 months at the Institute for Infocomm Research (Singapore) under the supervision of Jianying Zhou, and in 2012 he spent 3 months at the Institute for Applied Information Processing and Communications (IAIK) in Graz, Austria, under the supervision of Arne Tauber.

He is working as Post-Doc Researcher at the department of mathematics and computer science of the UIB. His current research lines are certified electronic mail and electronic contracting protocols. His research interests include privacy, payment protocols and e-commerce related security.

Before initiate his career as researcher, he worked as software analyst and developer at Dome-Consulting.
